Beef Share Deposit

Beef shares are sold based on hanging weight, which is the standard method when purchasing directly from a ranch.

After processing, you can expect to take home approximately 60–65% of the hanging weight, depending on your cut selections and whether you choose bone-in or boneless cuts.

Typical take-home amounts:

• Quarter: ~80 to 100 lbs
• Half: ~160 to 200 lbs
• Whole: ~320 to 400 lbs

Whole Share Pricing: $6.75 per pound hanging weight + processing
Half Share Pricing: $7.00 per pound hanging weight + processing
Quarter Share Pricing: $7.25 per pound hanging weight + processing

Processing is paid directly to the butcher.

Estimated total investment (including processing):

• Quarter: ~$1,000–$1,400
• Half: ~$2,000–$2,800
• Whole: ~$4,000–$5,400

Final totals will vary based on hanging weight and your cut selections. 

• Whole & Half Beef: Fully customizable with a cut sheet
• Quarter Beef: Standard cut sheet which includes: 

• KC Strip Steak
• Sirloin Steak
• Ribeye Steak
• Filet Tenderloin Steak
• Tenderized Round Steaks
• Skirt Stea, Flank Steak, OR Brisket
• Arm Roast, Chuck Roast, Rump Roast (Standard in the Fall, in the Spring we grind for more ground beef)
• Ground Beef (approximately 40 lbs total)

• A $200, $400, $800 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your quarter, half, or whole share
• You’ll receive instructions for your cut sheet (if purchasing a half or whole)
• We’ll communicate timing and pickup/delivery details

Our cattle are:
• 100% grass-fed and grass-finished
• Raised on pasture using rotational grazing

This approach supports animal welfare, soil health, and produces beef with exceptional flavor and nutrition.

 A non-refundable deposit secures your share of an animal.

This is a deposit only. Final price is based on hanging weight + processing and will be invoiced prior to pickup.
